Useful Information

The island is connected by ferry with the ports of Pireaus, Angkistri, Methana, and Poros. The trip from Pireaus to Aegina is 45-50 minutes long by hydrofoil, and 65-70 minutes long by ferry boat.

A visit to the island of Agkistri is made possible by hydrofoil or ferry boat from the port of Aegina. For the ports of Methana and Poros, one can only reach them with two daily scheduled routes made possible by Hellenic Seaways.

During the summertime, (from 16/6 to 15/9), theatrical and musical performances take place in the ancient theatre of Epidavros. In Aegina there are two travel offices which organize routes for these performances.

Any of our visitors who wish to visit the Islands of Hydra and Spetses, must use a private water taxi, or rent a sailboat for a one-to-two day sailing excursion, or register to go on a one-day-cruise which is organized by the company Hydraiki.

The center operates all year round, from Monday to Saturday, with the first shift starting at 6:30 am during the summer months, and 7:30 am during the wintertime.

Visitors who reside in countries of the E.U. Member States, and are holders of the E-111 card, don’t have any financial burdens for dialysis sessions at our center.
